Well its March which means one thing... Time to move flats again. That and basketball basketball basketball.
First things first. This weekend means that I have been in the UK for 6 months and I have 12 left on this contract. Feels a bit crazy. Also realised that at the end of this month will be 6 months in this flat, the longest I have spent in any one place since I left Greensboro. So the new place... Thanks to Jon, the gingner psuedocanadian flatmate - he found it, we will be moving from the semiposh suburb to the City. Yup - City boys now. It will be about a 15 minute walk to the office - not that I go there much. Its new, hardwoods, good views and a balcony (on the 6th floor). Should be cool. unfortunately Frenchie is leaving us for France and we are getting a new flatmate (friend of Jons....).
I got to see UNC lose today... Sad, only the second game I got to see this year and it had to be this loss. Oh well, with Lawson it was going to be hard. But at least we already have a NCAA berth.
On another note, I spent last week in Glasgow, again. The good news is that I should be working in / around London the neek few weeks. And once my schedule for the next month is solidified, I get to plan my next VACATION!!
I did have visitor this weekend too. A friend and his friends from UNC was starting a backpacking tour of Europe for a few months and started in London. Its always good to see a familar face and to catch up.
Last note - the second part of the title is from a book called CityBoys, about investment banking and the party life style in the City (i.e. Square Mile). Its good book, easy to read, funny and disturbing.
