Tonnes of fun

Its been a bit since I have posted anything and its odd to say that not much has happened when tons has. So after weeks of looking, I have finally found a flat. I did have some temporary help from a friend, who very nicely let me crash for a week. Bu now I am sharing a 3 bedroom place with a French guy and Kiwi girl. Its real close to a tube station, so that makes getting around London a lot easier. Work is, work. But thats not what you want to hear about. If I get a cool assignment, I'll let you know. Otherwise, just assume that it's ok.

Its been a struggle again keeping up with sports back home. But I might give in and by a package online form ESPN to watch games online. I say because that right now because I am actually watching the Saint/Charges live on TV. Thats only because they are playing here in Wembley. Apparently at the beginning of the game, they had a short explanation of how football is played... almost as good as when the Carolina Hurricanes were formed and they had full page diagrams of hockey uniforms and rules.

Otherwise I am trying to finish planning my holiday vacation - looking at Egypt but it will end real expensive, even in pounds. Oh other funny observation: I was channel surfing and came across some kind of music video countdown, ala VH1. But I saw the bit where they had a Cambridge professor of literature and poetry reading and analysing Cisco's "Thong Song". Describing the illiteration, repetition and rhyming as basic features of peotry and concluding yes, Cisco could be somewhat of an urban poet... he said this in all of his tweedy seriousness... and people wonder why pub culture is so big. I needed a pint after listening to that.

I have managed to catch up with a friend from Sydney who moved here before me. And tonight I am going to head out and catch up with Sim as he begins his 6 month tour of the world. FYI if you dont know him, Sim and I actually went to high school together and ended up working in the same company. Check out is big adventure at simlakhiani.blogspot.com.
