10 months again

So I have been a bit remiss about posting. Sorry been really busy. Last time I posted was after the Springsteen/DMB show - which was awesome. Since then I ended up running all around for work. I had to spend a good bit of time down in Brighton (on the coast), Sittingbourne, Charltham, Uxbridge, Esher, and some others. Work really picked, as it always seems to do before you go on vacation. I did manage to visit a friend of mine who I met in Australia who lives down west (little place called Tiverton in Devon) for a weekend. Nice little town/village and it was good to get out of the Big Smoke for a bit. And a Kiwi friend of mine from the Egypt trip was passing through London on his way to tour Europe, so we caught up again.

Also on the 15th of each month that rolls around, I tick off another month that I have been here. So July put me at 10 months, the same time I lived in Sydney. However it seems I had a much better life style there but no work to do, while here I am getting loads of work but still struggling to balance the rest in (a lot like in the US). Oh well, got a few more months to work on it and then we'll see what I do. But don't get your hopes up that I'll return to the US, there is a lot more of the world to see and who knows what offers will be on the table in a few months.

However tomorrow I leave to go home for a month - week for Andrew's wedding (I still have a toast/speech to write), week for me to mourn the passing of my youth (30th birthday and all) and then 2 weeks in beautiful, cosmopolitan Alpharetta, Georgia for work. Yes thats right I am working in the US on a client from the UK. And while I have been here, I have worked on some US clients in the UK.
