All dressed up with no place to go

A quick note. So work is over, not happy about it but I can understand the reasoning, just don't like it or the way it was conveyed. While we are talking about work...

We had our end of financial ball this past Saturday. And in true Aussie fashion, we had a theme... BURLESQUE...

I know what you are thinking, burlesque... really? for an accounting firm function... AND open bar... T R O U B L E. Yup.

Well it was fun. We had a couple hundred people, real burlesque entertainment (performer in the big champagne glass and an acrobatic show) and a bad home grown show.
The home grown show was a fund raiser for the Marketing (cricket) tour. They did a bit of a full Monty tribute, thankfully stopping at their shorts. I however did not have to participate and relive my UNCRFC days, since I am not on the tour, just tagging along.
An open dance floor for a few hours, then off to a after party at a local bar in the Rocks. It was a fun night and a good way for me to cap off my job here.
I even dressed up. My first thought was Tim Curry from Rocky Horror Picture Show (see photo at top)... but I don't want to see me like that. So I managed to hire a purple jacket, matching waistcoat, top hat and cane. Turned out well.
