No more mo

Dear Mo Stache,

My old friend, I am afraid it's time for you to go. But I know you understand. Its been this way for the last 15 old years. Every once and awhile we get to hang out for a bit but usually just a day or two. Its been interesting having you around for the last month. Sure people looked at us a little strange sometimes. They just didn't understand. You definately made things funnier. But I can't keep it up. You make things a bit difficult too. As funny as it was, sometimes it was just bad too. So I have to say fairwell. But don't worry, I'll see you again soon. Maybe next year we can hang out for the whole month again. So until then.

But seriously, with the coming of December, Movember is over. Thanks to everyone who donated, I ended up raising about 360 with the group from work raising close to 1,000. So thanks to everyone who donated, laughed at me or shook your head in sad amusement, or all of those. So of course to get rid of the stache, i decided to start with a clean slate. Yup. shaved my head. But I had forgotten how big the scar is on my head (from the broken face deal back in 2001). Oh well, the hair will grow back.

So its December and I realized the other day this is the first Christmas I can remember where I will be out of NC or VA. Plus its really weird being hot, sunny and at the beach ths time of year. Christmas trees in the park just dont seem right without snow, ice or at least some good old freezing rain.

Other than that, work is work. We are trying to build my department up so its been pretty hectic. We have or holiday shut down coming up in 3 weeks, I can't wait to go up to Cairns and the Whitsundays to see the reef and stuff. Should be a good time.Plus I am trying to plan my trip hom ein March (probably around the 21 to Arpil 5ish) and a visit into China in May to see a friend for his wedding. Going to be an interesting time.
